it’s a lonely walk
to the top
i take small steps
no regrets
invest in self
not just shekel wealth
but in my mental health
and in the grammar of my sentence stealth

Northern dialects
and heavy vowel stress
bless this verbal anarchy
not anarchy of a violent kind
don’t get yourself all panicky
i don’t feel a need to fight mans
or build street vanity
to maintain my sanity
smoke a zoot on a Saturday
to keep a 20:20 clarity

it’s my vision of things
it’s my vision of the walk
plucked from my experiences
like bass strings
i keep it abstract like Bjork
contemplation not encased in a cranium outlined in chalk

my contemplations never dead
the budda bless this train of thought
sanctify my mental temple with the herbal’s incremental
powers
phrases
rain down like showers for hours
and can wet you up like blunt razors
wordplay meticulously crafted like the Don Trump Towers
twisted turns like crazy mazes

have you ever seen a dog
punished and banished in the corner,
the way it cowers,
well that’s the UK masses
tails and heads between our legs
lies slow us down
like running hurdles on a track of thick molasses
come on then if you’re disaffected with this speak
grab my glasses
you’ll find I’m rarely visionless
it’s Windowlene clear that things are in a mess
we’re more concerned with Big Brother housemate’s asses
and Saskia or Mikosi’s prominent assets
nonetheless

i try to unravel all this in my flows
twist my tongue around deceit like mangled cassettes
broken Northern dialects mutter introspect with intellect
though at times my attempt to connect disconnects
like a cheap internet

yeh....all y'all....i post up here to get some feedback....now no disrespect to any of the copious posters up here....but it feels just a bit cliquey...i know how these boards are elsewhere.....but can i have some feedback...please??

your style is almost reportage mixed with ryhme. iliked some of it, mainyl the intricate little ryhmes that were placed throughout. it didnt help that i was listenign to kmd black bastards when i read it as the song and wrods dont mix well.
