Where are all the Vets?

Ok so we got Higher back, Caro, Sammy, Funk & Tom are all missing for their various reasons and $tu's off finding Jesus, but what's happened to all the other quality posters that helped make this place what it is?

Kronix, Sensei, Born Of Fire, Anex, Azim, Trance, Sparky, Shredd and im sure many others who I cant remember of the top of my head have all disappeared without trace. The forums have been going downhill for a while now and I think that’s probably contributed to a lot of them leaving but it only sucks coz you guys aren’t here!

Don’t get me wrong, we have had some kickass new members, Gorecore alone makes up for all the lukass’ and weedsmokers of this site, but we need some of the old guys back and for the few we have left to stop whining about how the site isn’t what it used to be and do something about it. If the forums are dull, be more interesting! It’s always been the posters that have made this site great, so get posting before we end up killing the place. It’s been on the up the last couple of weeks, but there’s still a way to go. Assuming we can raise the money we need to keep it going, the site itself will improve with the shop and other shit happening, the rest is up to us.

I concur. But you cant really force people to come back they have their own things to attend to. I'd just liketo see some of the older members step up like BG, Cameron or CTCF. We just need to fill the void thats all

Dude, no offence, but you got here like 3 months ago, how could you possibly know what i'm talking about? And i'm not talking about forcing people back who have alot of shit going one, but im sure a few of them stopped posting coz it's just not as fun anymore, Kronix even re-surfaced a little while ago to say if things ever got back the way they were he'd start posting again, but we need people like him to post if were going to have any hope of getting this place back to the community it was.

Dude im sure Widespread has read shit loads of old posts as have i! It is quite evident how this place used to be a great community with regular long term posters! Because i didnt experience this golden age of guru i dont want this place to change with shit loads of old members comin back and myself getting treated like a newB again. Dnt get me wrong the regulars here at the moment are awesome, BG, CTCF and cameron to name a few, but there are so many of us that have only been here for a few months any reference to members that no longer post does not really get to us at all.
Not sure if ive actually made much of a point but it kinda seems to me that if people are no longer posting for one reason or another thats that, we should just get on with building a community with people that are posting.

Sparky was here about 1 week ago. I would love to know what happened to Anex. Haven't talked to him in well over a year and things weren'y going to well for him...hope he's ok.

These are all people i surley miss hearing from. I think Sparky lost his internet though, I used to talk to him thru IM"s and i havent seen him on in a long ass time.

Otherwise, What we need is to not talk abuot this shit, We dont need all the older members back. We got a whole bunch of newer "vets" here. And all we need to do is start making more interesting topics and more valuable things to say and this place will be jus as good or better then it ever was.

Old vets will come back but you can't ask them, It's up to them if they want to come back or not. It's like Shredd saw him on Msn a few months back told me we all missed him so he came and said hi. Doesn't mean he stayed does it? It must be hard coming back to a site when you have been away for a long time.

As BG said theres so many new 'vets' that have emerged it seems to have distanced some older members some what. I think we just have to build on what we have already got...

But one thing i will say is Where the fuck is are the females?
We have what Caro, Chicka, jus.me and paloka chik (sp). But thats all i know of.

It's not brown nosing, those were just the posters i could remember off the top of my head that made this place a great place to be and have dissapeared without a trace, like i said, there were others but these are the first that came to mind. This was not disrespect to our current members or the vets that are still here, i was just saying that this place isnt the same without all the old faces. So stop bitching and taking shit out of context.

Like i said, we have some great new members and if we all made an effort we could create a community as good as the old one, but i was just saying the forums could do nothing but benefit from a few of the vets returning.

Me, BG and a few others have been trying pretty hard to be civil and helpful to new members lately. I sorta thought things were improving some what but it seems to have taken a step back again and i really don't understand why.

I think we all have and dont get me wrong, things have been getting better. We just need a little more concious effort from everyone to post more good topics.

I'm not bitching at you guys, there are some wicked people on here and i have no doubt things will get better, we just need to give it a little shove in the right direction.
