Highschool Prom

I've got my highschool prom on the 24th of June and as much as im looking forward to it im shitting myself aswell. Its gunna be a great laugh cause i've got a limo booked (its a stretched pick up truck, looks mad) and i've got my tux etc.... and im goin wiv my gf which is cool but my problem is that I CANT DANCE. Just wonderin if anyone else went to their prom and they couldnt dance. Dont get me wrong i can slow dance thats piss easy but normal dancing is hard.

I didnt go to my senior prom. Instead i went to a Hank Williams Jr. Concert and got fucking trashed.

But as for dancing, well just start by kinda bouncing up and down then move your head to the beat, then kinda move around and it might look like your dancing. or you can just say you have to go to the bathroom whenever a fast song is on.

I wasn't allowed to go to mine and nor were most of my mates, so apparently it pretty much sucked. The afterparty was off the head though.

As for dancing, my method is to get so drunk i dont care whether i can dance and do it anyway.

My last prom I wasn't allowed in because of my behaviour at school in the weeks leading up to it. So me and my other mates that weren't allowed in were just going to go where the prom was and just mooch outside and have a smoke... Then egg all the kids that came out. Somehow the staff found out and had police outside the event all night and rang our parents advising the to not let us out that night. So I just had a few spliffs out of the eighth I brought for the night in my garden, then had a smoke the following day.
But dancing, meh. Apparently at the prom nobody was really dancing, they were just jumping around and shit. But slow dancing is as easy as fuck, and as its a senior prom I reacon thats the only kind of music the will be playing. If they play any fast stuff, just tell your gf that you want to sit down and have a drink and a chat.
Man... the afterparty will be sick!!!

Got mine on the 23rd of June.

I'm going in single, without a female partner, instead my buddies are comming along, all in tuxes with a nice blunt between our lips (well before we go in

mines on the 24th aswell, im just gonna get hamerred from the afternoon onwards, probably mainly drink, cause none of the people at school smoke, then maybe go to town afterwards

I didn't got to prom or any other dances for that matter, I just had no interest in having to be around the people I went to school with anymore than I had to...but good luck dancing, I'd give you tips but I have no idea how to dance as well...

itsa a fuckin waste of money, i went this year and paid 315 roughly ( 215 for the prom and 100 for the partys and shit and the next 2 days for whatever.....

But still 315 for a party that ur just buyin shit for.....It be a pretty good 2 or 3 days....

I never made it to prom, dropped out before that time came. And yes I regret dropping out terribly.

I suck at dancing too, in fact I hate it, so I know how you must be feeling...not sure I have any solutions for you really. Other than avoid dancing??

Or pretend you sprained your ankle.
