I have a cordao azul in Angola style capoeira, did a couple years of kickboxing, and recently I've taken some Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai lessons.

Too much money, I get my lesson for free, And the hard way. Got a pair of gloves, Willing to box anybody who comes my way.Weedguru Funk Doctor wrote:You should take some kickboxing lessons too, your boxing experience will help you a great deal, plus, beating a guy down in style is much more amusing than sitting on top of him and punching him in the face

If the other guy has the least bit of fighting skills, getting a clear shot for a knee-to-head is pretty difficult.A_Fire_Inside wrote:Who needs martial arts when ya can Ram someone's face into your knee. Hasn't failed me yet.
Bro, I faught a dude before that had a high belt in karate and knows tae kwon doe. I wooped the bitch's ass. He tryed to do one of them spin kick things, Wasnt that hard to back up half a foot before i got hit, Grabbed his foot and threw him straight to the ground. Stomped his ass on the spot.Weedguru Funk Doctor wrote:If the other guy has the least bit of fighting skills, getting a clear shot for a knee-to-head is pretty difficult.A_Fire_Inside wrote:Who needs martial arts when ya can Ram someone's face into your knee. This is much easier: get close to him, wait for him to take a swing, divert the attack with one arm, punch him in the face with the other, if you did it right he'll be off guard for a second, which is more than enough to get in a knockout punch or a kick to the head.
Trust me, if you tried to knee me in the face, I'd have you lying on the ground before you could even lift your leg.
Martial arts aren't just for show people
