liverpool 2-1 juve

Post by weedguru_animal »

i su[ported juve since i was 12, not so much these last few years as the plight of the equally might gills has been more engrossing and more scary. still i am a juve suporter.
i saw the second half , and the highlights of the first half later on that night. everyone been saying how amazing liverpool were and how they so deserved to win, but i disagree.the only thing i agree with is that the garcia goal deserved to win any game cos it was real special.

the juve players hadnt played as a team for 2 weeks. nedved was just back from a 6 week lay off, this matters a lot, he is one of the best players in the world when hes fit. emerson, the anchor man, strained his gorin in the first 5 seconds but had to play on without an subsitute of adequate quality to replace him. del piero, shit as he was, did score a perfectly good goal, not just slightly onside, but more like 2 yards on side, a truly shocking referring decision in such a crucial game. ibrahimavic hit thepost.

anyway liverpool maybe didnt deserve to lose, but they were fortunate to win i think. first half the lack of practice of the juve players showed massively as the reds came at hem with vision and stupid amoumnt of energy. for sure the pace unsettled the juve players, and the lack of match practice was madly evident as thuram was lettingpeopel slip by him, and even cannavaro was been a little lax. the goals were wicked, i doubt hyppia ever hit such a sweet volley, on the other hand garcia probly done that before. either way they both waulity goals, and they have to be quality goals to beat buffon, as he is alike a cat, or a cheetah maybe.anyway first half was all liverpool but shuda been 2-1
and maybe 2-2 if not for post
but pool deserved their lead.
second half the juve players had started to regain their solidarity, and liverpool were outplayed for most the second 45 mins. it was wicked to see thruma and cannavaro regain their touch and tacjkling, as i dont remember them missing one tackle or header on the whole second period. kinda lucky goal for cannavaro but juve definately deserved something. i know that people sup[ort the english effort in europe as we should. but i gotta disagree with people saying juve were outplayed.

Well, they did it. Respect to Liverpool, they played brilliantly, but it was as if Juve didnt even turn up. They wern't playing like a team fighting for survival in the Champions League, they put in no more effort than they would for a pre-season friendly. A dissapointing perrformance to say the least, i thought they were going to go through with ease.
