if you're bong doesn't have a shotgun hole or carb as some people call it, then after you take the hit you'll need to pull the bowl out to clear the smoke from the chamber. these types of bongs are a little more tricky

I'm familiar with those ones, they sell them where I live. There should be a small metal rod sticking out of the rubber cork, that has a metal "cup" shall we say. That metal "cup" (the bowl) is where you pack your weed. Once you have a few buds in there, hold your lit lighter (a Bic lighter works best) to the top of the bowl, and suck the air through the hose. When you think you almost can't take any more smoke into your lungs, ease the rubber cork out of the bottle, and hold it so it's about .5 - 1cm higher than when it's sealed. Keep inhaling until there's no smoke left in the bottle. This acts as a choke, seeing that those kind of bongs don't have a choke. (A choke is something that allows air into the chamber, so that it can be cleared.) Anyways, that's how you do it, go get blitzed!

a friend of mine had one of those, it had 2 pipes sticking out of the top. one had a cone on top, for the weed, the other was the air hole. im not sure which one you have. if its only got the 1 bit on top, do as newfie says. if not, do pretty much the same, but while your lighting and pulling the weed, have your finger over the small pipe bit, then when your ready to pull it through take your finger off. and voila.
