there is about 5% of them that get real jobs and dont act like a bunch of fucking idiots and i dont mind them, because they dont act like douche bags.

Calling people out on racism is bullshit, but generalizing a whole race is also bullshit.. we give enough shit to flow for him doing that for other people to learn. Part of what he says is true, but it's a huge leap from saying a majority of them do it, and ALL of them do something. I think there is a LEGITIMATE reason on stereotypes, because they do root from somewhere.. but it's not always everyone.

I'm with flying on this one.. There are races (not all over) but at least from your world, it is more true than other places...which kind of makes it true?

Not putting any specifics on races, but I'm in full support that stereotypes have more truth to them than just pure racism and bullshit

^ thanks that might help people understand, i guess i should say this: 95% of the Natives i see in public or meet or have a class with or anything all act the same, except for the small minority who dont act like jack asses, who knows maybe its just that the jackasses are more likely to do something in public to get my attention than the ones who act decently.

Just cause you have an opinion doesn't mean you have to share it, especially when it hurts other people.

Racism and being honest are way different. Especially when it's a racism based on a stereotype.

How are people suppose to get to know you if you always agree with them?

For instance if a friend asks me if a hat looks nice on them and it doesn't, I will for sure tell them that it doesn't. It might hurt their feelings, but in the long run that person won't be wearing an ugly hat.

actually I'm kind of with you guys on this one.. I don't like that statement at all.

Not everything everyone says should be nice all the time.. there's always a LITTLE room for negative opinions on things. If someone was only told nice things their whole life.. then they would probably not realize their faults nearly as much, or be as realistic about things they are doing.

It's just when an opinion becomes a preach that makes it bad.

I dont care if it makes me unpopular, cos I aint here to make friends, but I didnt say dont tell the truth, telling a lie and remaining silent are two different things entirely. I am merely pointing out it is arrogant to think just because you can voice your opinion that you should do, especially without some kind of filter. It is an overblown sense of self-importance to expect that people actually want to hear your opinion 100% of the time. If I said and posted what I thought without regard for others feelings I would be kicked instantly, but because I have respect for other people, a degree of self control and a fairly strict moral code, I would never impose or voice my opinion on someone without them asking for it first especially when I know it will hurt them or if the subject is one that could tread negative/hostile paths. And Andria, in the event where something that might hurt someones feelings has to brought up and there is no way around it, there are always better ways of wording it, that still get the message across, without being a dick about it. So yea, I dont change my there stance really. You can agree or disagree I dont care, I cant be arsed being bated into anymore argueing, as I think I have explained my point enough and things are very unlikely to change here on WG with regards to what gets removed from the boards by mods anyway.
