When did I tell you whether or not there is a god? I said, and I quote: "There might be one, there might not be one, hell, there might be millions!" I merely pointed out that you saying there is none, with asolute certainty, is arrogant.

It's quite rational to say there isn't a god like the one depicted by the Bible, because only an idiot or a fanatic takes the story of Creation for truth these days, but to say there is no god altogether, period... if that's so rational, then I'm sure you can state some rational arguments to back up your claim, right?

There is a HUGE difference between saying "I believe there is no God" and saying "There is no God".

I wasn't on about whether or not you believe, what I meant was, even if you don't have an opinion on this, who are you to tell people what to believe and disbelieve and to keep their opinion to themselves ??

And of course I don't have any 'anti-god' proof, but then again those religious bastards don't have any either, right?

As far as i'm concerned I am 'ad librum' to think what I want about almost anything (i'm not gonna go into racism cause everyone here can agree that racism sucks monkeyballs and should be banned) and if I choose not to believe in a god or maybe 'an actual sentient living being' is a better choice then that's the way it is, i'm not gonna change my view on things because there are people that think i'm arrogant for stating there is no god....

I do have an opinion. But it's just that, an opinion. I might be wrong. And what you say is not an opinion, might I add. If it were, it would start with 'My opinion is..." or "I believe that...". You present your opinion as if it were the truth, much like the 'religious bastards' you despise so much.

And please refrain from using the term 'religious bastards'. Not all religious believers are fanatics, you know. Of course nobody has proof of whether or not God exists, that is exactly the point I'm trying to get across.

I'm not saying you're arrogant for what you believe, if you believe that there's no God, then so be it, you might even be right. But what I don't appreciate is you trying to force that belief on others by claiming it is the absolute truth. Because doing so makes you... *drumroll* a fanatic.

But it is ok for people to go around saying "there's a god." Just as ok as it is to go around saying "there is no god." It's called freedom of speech. So I say there is no god.

Understand what I say.. Even if there is a god, in my perspective of life, and my personal opinion, there STILL is no god. I don't worship or look up to any god figures, so even if there was a higher being, I still wouldn't consider it MY god. I feel that I'm speaking for myself here, so I have every right to say there is no god and it means absolutely that. And that's the truth.

Freedom of speech leads to frictions, there's people that think of me saying the above as 'what an insult!!! STONE HIM' and there's people that agree with it.

This whole issue will never get resolved, unless some higher being magically shows itself to the entire world, or until science somehow comes with an answer to the Big Bang.


And Funk, don't forget that religion caused Creationism to come into existence, and caused millions of people the dismiss Darwin's theory of Evolution, which is astonishing in my opinion...

I'm not forcing beliefs. I could care less about what the other guy thinks. Religion affects absolutely no aspect of my life, besides this discussion right here.

Well, I used to live in the country for a couple years and no one ever threw rocks at me for sayin there's no god. And as for A-rabs, they all go to bed around 6 in my area and I don't really go out to chill until after 8 so its all good with them lol.
