yea, uk laws suck for defending yourself in your own home, but fuckit, i do enough illegal stuff as it is anyway, and if i feel threatened i will act however i feel i need to, life in prison is better than no life at all...
i really need to get myself to a country that is better for this shit, no?
whats amsterdams laws on killing/maiming intruders?
and i am afraid sugar, i have no idea why the end of a semester is stressful soz, for me that was always the biggest time of relief, no more 8am mornings, lol (though we still had coursework over our holidays, the cramming for exams is over tho)
i guess the stress is the difference between actualy enjoying your course?
either way good luck, smoke a few extra bowls to keep urself hazed :)
CTCF enjoy your caribean getaway, and which state are you in? sounds like a possibility for my future home and zombie fortress :)

I don't know if anyone of you have seen the song I posted, but something a bit amusing happened today. Because I've been listening to that band a lot lately, and have their songs stuck in my head, and I have a habit of humming and singing to myself. Anyway, I was in the grocery store doing some shopping when I noticed I was getting some rather ugly glares from a woman standing a bit up the aisle when I realized why... I was singing, softly to myself, "hail satan, arcangelo. Hail satan, welcome year zero".

I must do something about that habit.

Cut that 'omg' shit out, you damn ghouls! Though, it is something wonderful, to find both mate and certified 'facecutter' nutjob back amongst us...I welcome your kinship wholesomely. And look forward to re-acquainting myself into your lives, and vice-versa.

As for myself, I am drunkard, my Queen and Goddess is at her mother's place tonight, which leaves me to dance with the vodka vixen, eat burgers, and generally let myself run amok in whatever way seems Right.

My 5 week or maybe a bit more holiday has been approved at work for next june and july, meaning i can head to my homeland, then berlin, then sicily and the southern coast of Italy. Perhaps a detour to Norway if there is any chance of seeing the Northern Lights, Failing which, we can smoke them in Amsterdam.

Northern Lights are up there with the top things i wanna do/see in life. Norway so far as i can remember are brilliant for it... I remember finding this log cabin out in the snow somewhere which would wake you up at night and take a sleigh dog ride up into the white desert to see it. I've no idea where i seen this, but it looked class (it was online somewhere, on the internet). I've always thought of it as like sober hallucinations so they've always appealed to me. If ye do see them, take pictures... Take lots of pictures.

The problem, lep, is the timing...I need to do some research in regards to the gorgeous natural fireworks. Failing which, we will spend longer in Berlin and in the south of Italy. It is high time I visited Sicily, where half of my crimson rivers originate.

An ''official'' game of chess in it's full length will be limited to 2 hours per players.
This is what the clock beside the chessboard is for.
each player has his clock set to 2 hours. Everytime I make a move, I push my clock button, my time stops and my opponent's time starts, and that goes until the game is over.
Win/Loss because of time limit are very rare as strong chess player can save a loss by bringing the position to a draw when they judge they don't have enough time left to look for the checkmate.

There's also ''blitz'' chess. With 30min time control. It's a much faster pace where you just can't think about all the possibilities, 30min goes by really fast.
There's also 10min blitzes. Once again it's a very quick pace, you want to be aggressive and go into unusual move lines and variations, anything unorthodox and out of book and study lines is good, because most of the endgame will rely on intuition rather than knowledge.

And there's bullet chess. 2min and 1 min games. Wich is something I truly love.
It's ''bad'' chess, but hell it's fun, everything goes by so fast, it's all about what you think's the best ''right'' now.. You need to have an idea and keep with it.. you have only 1-2 min to go brought all stages of the game, so you need to know what you are doing.
It's most likely played on computer as you need to move the pieces REALLY fast without stumbling with the timer. Computer also let you to ''pre move'' anticipating your opponent's next move, wich bring a LOT of excitement when both player ''pre-move'' a dozen of moves.

I have to go work, I'll answer to other question later. I need to shave :(

I'm trying out the online dating scene, surprisingly there are a lot of good women out there using it too and plenty of then show an interest in me. Has anyone else tried it with any luck? I think it is becoming more acceptable in society and finding a match online is easier and cheaper than going out to a bar. Just curious if anyone has tried it with any luck. Like I said I am amazed at how many good looking girls that share similar interests with me have been keeping in contact. Any thoughts?

i have tried it...
when i first tried it, at the brittle age of 16, i found my first girlfriend... who i like to warmly remember as 'The psycho Ex' among many other names.
She managed to successfuly scare me away from any means of internet dating aswell as women in general for a good few years (i am 25 now lol)
i started getting desperate about a year ago, so i signed up for one, but i refuse to pay, so i dont get all the shit u get when you pay (like being able to reply) so it has pretty much, gone no-where so far.
i am starting to think i might have to pay soon... but i wonder, whether i should just out n say on the profile my love of being stoned, or keep it as a nice suprise, cos me getting shit for being a stoner is a deal breaker, hell the very mention of 'maybe you should consider cutting down' will be a deal breaker, i aint going down that road again..

but then again, saying all that, i came here, before being distracted, to announce, i HAVE THE PS4!!!
and that being said... it will probably end my aspirations of a romantic attatchment for another half decade... meh

It is an interesting subject Chris...and yes I have tried online dating! During my 2-3 year period of drunk and disordely and dissolute. I was truly just a drinking and fucking machine, searching for heaven between many different thighs, yet finding, mainly superficial peaks of slight interest, awful sex and the ability within myself to be rather horrid at times...I was meeting women online, in the park, outside shops, inside shops, at work, whilst sitting in the front garden with my hound. A time I should really write about at some stage. 'Romeo the Wordy Slut' would be an apt title.

Be careful of those beauty shots...try okcupid.com. Or rsvp.com. Avoid the 'lets meet and fuck' routine. In the modern world where people meet by mere location to fuck, look for the sites which allow two people to get to know each other. People can be whoever they want to appear as online, but the proof is in the tasting, i mean meeting. My advice is to connect with people who seem to have a good character as well as a good photo, then meet with no intentions, no expectations, a carefree attitude.

The prettiest goons at work are all on text dating apps. The stigma used to be there, but has gone, and its now 'cool', to text/chat and fuck.

My take on the matter is that if you can get to know someone by letter, if both parties are been sincere, then at worst, when you meet, you can find a friend.

You are a smart chap, Chris...and can write well. Which stands you at a massive advantage over so many others. Use your communication skills, and be lucky...

I know exactly where you are coming, I had one of those myself. I know some people say all women are crazy, but mine was in fact insane! It took me about four years to show a genuine interest in women again. Not saying I didn't go out and spend the night in a few different beds, but to actually show an interest in having a girlfriend again, well it took some time.

I think you should at least give some general hint on your profile that you smoke. I mean most girls that want a guy are looking for honesty anyway and there are about as many girls that like to smoke as there are guys. If you don't put it in then you will either find one that does or one that opposes it and trying to hide it will probably just put more stress on yourself anyway. My friend finally just put it on his profile and found a girl that doesn't care if he smokes or not. In the end it all comes down to your decision

Well I've done this myself and am honestly just looking for someone that I can enjoy my time with. I'm getting up there in age or at least if feels like I am getting up there in age and I imagine I will have to find something stable soon, but perhaps that's just my anxiousness coming out.

I don't know if I could stand this. I'm more into writing lengthy emails that use plenty of adjectives that truly express my feelings, desires, and intents. However these don't come out until she lets one of the three slip in an email to me first. Afterwards it becomes much easier to dictate the tone and underlying theme of the email in question. Texts seem to me to be too impersonal in nature and take away from any person-to-person interaction. An email isn't much better, but at least length in an email is more acceptable than length in a text

I would strongly advise to stick to revealing, and judging, any feelings, intentions and desires, until two people had actually met in the flesh. Whilst I am sure that some people, who express themselves in written word sincerely and effectively with another who is doing the same CAN and DO experience feelings, desires and form intentions, it is a very dangerous game to give them substance, before they have had a chance to meet the object, the source, the inspiration, face to face, voice to voice, hearts beating near one another. If there is one thing I can do better than most others it is to write. Especially to write openly, expressively and damn well at times. My love letters are love bombs...But I could only, and have only, sent such things to women I have met, heard, smelt, felt close to me. Otherwise, there is a massive danger of projection.

My texts are generally novella length. And a chat online leads to unpublished books...which nutter and others have playfully mocked me for many times, in a fond manner of course??? I adore the written word as a means of self expression.

Of course, anyone can write what they like from a distance, yet the proof of the pudding is always in the eating. To woo with words can be a beautiful thing for many...Less so for equally many.

Can two people fall in love from a distance without ever meeting???...I should start a thread about that.

In other matters, work is hell, christmas is berserker busy and I am drinking too much. Still, I have my savage queen to loosely keep me in check, and always act as the Saturn to my Titan. for which I am sometimes pained by, but always blessed with.

well, i think i will keep the weedy-ness away from the profile, you know, theres pics on my smoking and looking blazed as, if they dont get the hint then damn!
but you know, i am pretty sure they monitor shit like that, and i like big bro to know as little as poss.
also i find it difficult to talk of myself, or describe myself in a 'profile' i just end up listing things i can do, it just feels weird like.
i'll just hang onto the hope that some model will somehow find me and fall for my odd-ball charms?

damn
severe is the realisation of the crazy biatch thats gna fall for my charms o.O
