Right now, nothing happens. Since they are so confused over the changing marijuana laws. You wont actually get arrested unless they know you have intent to seel (Aka oz+)

They wont arrest you, or even fine you AT THE MOMENT. Because the marijuana laws in Canada are changing so much, police are afraid to arrest, or even charge someone. They could possibly get sued or something is their concern I would guess.

Liquor is legal because the government can control it. They moderate production, marijuana can be grown by anyone almost anywhere, that's why it's still illegal imo.

if they legalized they could still make money from taxes and there would most likely be new or already existing companies (like big tobacco companies) that would produce it and im sure the government gets money from them otherwise ciggs would be illegal, its unfortunate the goddam beer-o-craps dont have any vision to consider what it WOULD be like

I don't reckon it wld, there are so many ppl who couldn't be bothered to grow it themselves, or they start growing it and don't have the patience or perseverance to grow it.

I beg to differ.
Why would people pay top prices to the GOVERNMENT when its so easily maintained and grown at home.
