You are quite naïve Sugar, first of all the sole reason we aren't decades ahead in technology and science is because dogmatic narrow minded idiots much like that guy spreading creationism thought it was witchcraft, that it did not fit the picture of their world with their god in it.


So yes, I thoroughly hate any sack of shit spreading creationism and his/her beliefs, that goes out to every single religion not just christians. The sooner we get rid of religion as a whole the better it will be for mankind, if creationism is allowed a foothold in this world then you are setting us back decades, maybe even centuries.

I don't really believe it is JUST evil. It has done some fucked up things in the past, but for some (yes maybe you might consider them weak) religion can be a big part in helping them through rough times. There are always stories about someone who has done some bad shit in the past and religion has helped them to be a better person.

It's hard to get all my points across, I could say so many things on the subject but some of them would seem to contradict eachother... But to say religion is just all evil is kind of wrong, it's not evil to help the homeless, a lot of religions are actually dedicated to helping the homeless, sure they will give them bibles and talk to them about god, but only because they feel it is right and they want to "save" these people. It's kinda fucked up, but even though Christianity held us back in the dark ages, they still do some pretty good shit for people in the present day, even though they can be really fucking annoying at times. And I mean, these days, there aren't really any religions that are willing to do what the Christians did back then. Most religions now are just peaceful. Although mass indoctrinating kids with this bullshit isn't the way forward! (H)

the people who say religion in general is bad are talking out of their asses... religion HAS helped save people, LOTS and LOTS of people.. more than you can even think of.. it has harm, but with something so powerful there is ALWAYS a GOOD and BAD. Creationism (especially this guy) is just complete bullshit, but religion in general has done a LOT of good for humans whether you want to believe it or not..
