Then it would be a nation filled with crackwhores and meth addicts and everything will have gone to hell.longjohnsilver wrote:america should just legalize all drugs and produce them themselves and charge street prices or slightly less, debt would go away in two years

Because America has a sizable population and landmass, superordinate economic capacity, plenty of food and natural resources, and an extremely well developed nuclear capacity. Don't you think that a nation that is capable of destroying the world should be called a superpower?LarryBunsold wrote:it is a joke the way America conducts itself as the super-power of the world. Even if people accept it as so, how is the so-called "super-power" in trillions of dollars in debt, needing to borrow $2 billion per day to stay alive?
And sure America is in debt, but its citizens enjoy a high standard of living, and the highest GDP in the world (discounting the EU).
I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.

hi guys
Extreme cold war paranoia is the reasons for these radar stations, command centers and anti-missile silo's... Russia has been acting way too much like its old self recently.. so really North Korea and Iran are just excuses.. ( I have reasons to support this argument... 1. If you were defending against missiles from Iran you wouldn't have them in Czech republic that's for sure try turkey and the balkans. 2. With recent missile interceptors/radar stations in Alaska it would be a defense against North Korea to a notable degree, but with a far more notable degree in Japan and they'll be happier to host our defenses too but the fact that Russian missiles would already zip by Hokkaido before they could reach them in the tactical way they were designed for... meanwhile a missile system further down the road in Alaska would) If war ever broke out with America and the inevitable return of the USSR, missile interceptors in Europe would knock out they're missiles before they can reload them into their silo's.. (that's when America launches their missiles.) But seriously, this Iran excuse reeks of bullshit to me... I'm almost certain the U.S. would want an attack on the E.U. from Iran.. (the coalition of the willing will have plenty of more members)
it's funny to see Bush being criticized on this issue when every Republican President (even some democratic presidents) would do the exact same thing.. (this whole idea was launched by Reagan remember..) not that I like Bush, or vote republican for that matter lol..

fair points, but many citizens are still impoverished and more and more illegal aliens are coming everyday, making the usa more populated. and the more populated a place gets, the more it will be controlled by the government, and the less so called "freedom" we will enjoy. the united states (where i live) is still a fucked up mess, especially our justice system. and the only solution is mass genocide. AKA there is no solution.Ikku wrote:Because America has a sizable population and landmass, superordinate economic capacity, plenty of food and natural resources, and an extremely well developed nuclear capacity. As fed up with the current administration as we all are, we still have it pretty good over here. Would you like to really appreciate freedom? Go live in a dictatorship for a while, or a third world country. Do you stand in line 3 days for a piece of cheese? Can you critisize your government openly w/o fear of jail or death?Stash* wrote: land of the free my ass
Things are rough, but I plan on sticking with it b/c this is MY country; good and bad. My husband risks his life for it, I have a home, a piece of land, and I've never gone hungry.
All you fair-weather citizens can kiss it.

True, Russia IS turning back into the pre-cold war communistic alienated nation. Which is a bad bad bad thing, It seems to me that both leaders are just getting chewed up by increasing feelings of paranoia towards one another.JokersAce wrote:hi guys

I mean nations have their differences, look at the the 54 conflicts going on as we speak, look at all those different ethnic groups, man even people from the same country trying to slit each others throat every day. I just don't get it.
The G8 Just released 60bln dollars to help fight AIDS and poverty in Africa, yet this is of no use because as long as African leaders (not all of them, unfortunately most of them) keep on preaching how 'Wearing a condom does not help you become immune or claim they created a cure against AIDS' and keep on being the corrupt twats they are that vast amount of money will just slowly but steadily dissipate, into the pockets of those corrupt leaders and their network of helpers...
It makes me sad

Most of those countries live like we never lived dude, seriously.hashpipe wrote:the missile shield thing is probably just a way to get some influence in the east-block countries, so that russia loses influence there, right now, all those countries live like we did 20 years ago, which isnt a bad thing. but a whole lot of other governments see them like dickwads
Even in the stone age women got treated better than they're being treated down there these days.
I mean, not that the West didn't disrespect women in the past but what they do to them down there is over the top.
I adore women, mmmm, women...
