i just got some seeds can anyone help?

Yo, i just got my seeds 2day ( 2/26 ) and i read all the posts, i cut a water bottle in half and put paper towels in em and stuck my seeds like on the sides and put water in there, once they are ready to b potted, what do i do? - i got the shit hidden in my closet - then im gonna put it in the basement when its ready to plant - how many times do i water it and how do i know if its going good or not?? -
