Shroom seasons?

i live in the US and the state is Missouri. its January over here. is it shrooms pickin season? and if so where can they be found? i no under shit, and in the woods.

I think shroom season is almost over isn't it? Oh well, but anyways get a mushroom picking guide so that you dont pick a poisonouse one and eat it and dissolve your liver and die

they can be found on rotted wood such as stumps or something and in maulch (sp?). i think the season it more like spring-autumn. i dont think they grow in the winter...not sure though

the seasons depends on where you live. But norm it about oct to when they start to die off. Mostley from heat.

i would love to know if i could find them growing wild in virginia, i'd have a blast. shrooms are so rare aroudn here taht your lucky to get'em before others pounce on the opportunity.
