what kinda music do you all play the most? my favourite music to play is Opeth, Static-X, Metallica, Fear Factory, In Flames and our bands material. Anyone else like this sorta stuff or play similar? Also, I like getting into a bit of Infectious Grooves, Jimi Hendrix and John Butler for some variety

john butler is good. i used to play mainly my bands music but there is no band anymore coz the other guitarist was a motherfucker. but yeh i like to play anything. if im listening to a song i will probably try and get the tabs for it. i can play monkey wrench, turning japanese, my own summer some others aerials. by system of a down however u spell it. what i really wanna learn to play is the solo on AFI's "Dancing through sunday." that is such an awesome guitar solo.

btw can anyone do artificial harmonics. i can but i cant do it all that well. my friend taught me and he can do them all the time. they sound so awesome

umm jack johnson would be really good to learn especially if you like john butler. i dont know how to play any of his songs but they are so cool and calm. i can play wipeout... that is a sweet song. but yeh when ur listening to some music and you think id like to learn that. go look for the tabs and just play it. if its too hard learn it anyway. www.mxtabs.net is a good website unless u already know it. which i think most people would

I paly mostly stuff like Finch ,though it is mental tuning, and Blink stuff like that. More of a drum player really though. Can anyone give me a sugestion of a good song to play for my music practical for GCSE? Its got to be an ensemble im going to limit it to me and a friend playing the guitar me on drums any sugestions? would help me lots

it depends how good you and your friend are... if you're a freak, go for Psycroptic - Battling The Misery Of Organon, or if that's too hard (my cousin can't manage and he's damn good on drums) go for something like In Flames - Behind Space '99 or Opeth - Godhead's Lament (prolly would wanna shorten that tho)
