Different LUX values of Sunlight

How useful could the sunshine be here in Melbourne to a marijuana plant in its two stages of vegetative and flowering?

Its Spring now and the sun is shining often but its equally overcast. Is the LUX value when overcast still valuable at all to seedlings?

Hmm... well it's still the same light, just scattered and diffuse... So it does have some value... Just a reduced value, compared with direct sunlight.
I have no idea how LUX values really work though... I assume it refers to the intensity of the light? Or is that lumens...

The illuminance of direct sunlight is approximately 100,000 lux, but normal daylight, which is filtered through a cloudy sky, is between 5,000 and 10,000 lux, while moonlight can be as little as 0.25 lux.
