What drives my happiness are the joys erupting from those truly loving connections I have encountered, perhaps uncovered in the soul garden, embraced, nourished and accepted with glee a life long loyalty to the Love...SOmetimes, like now for example, I feel a deficit, I feel the physical distance between myself and the vast majority of these rare and special connections I write of, found in the flesh 12000 miles away from here, in europe, mainly England, but also one such bond leads me to Brussels, where my ex-mafioso / buddhist /rasta/ catholic/ sage/ brother/ father figure lives, with his bella moglie and little lady. My half (by blood) brother here is a mate, but not the same kinda brother as I miss from my homeland, through no fault of his or mine, its just the way things are...I have Black Jay, a near to 50 year old sri lankan comrade in the mail room at work, and yes...as is my measure, he comes under the Loving Connection, for I would cut throats for him, I would poison whole families for him, I would burn down houses for him...if push came to shove. I greatly appreciate the time we spend together at work, for those four of each monday-friday periods, but once out of work, he is ALL FAMILY, due to his culture, and his own idea of What Is Right. Which I respect...I miss having a multitude of these kinda connections, these kinda creatures who merely even to think about, makes me smile from deep within, and to talk about can cause that smile to spread from ear to ear. Is that not what life is about??? Exploring, adventuring, working yourself out through brushing up against if not colliding head on with The World and all it contains???? Hoping, more than anything else, to find Love, of all kinds...so that their joy becomes your joy, and your joy becomes their joy. Solidarity of souls, harmony of hearts...What use is experience, is excitement, is glory, true love, true loss, true pain, true glee, without others to share such things with and inspire such things within our SELFS. Indeed...its time to make a stab at stemming the tide of Ghoul threatening to overcome me, to alter me...into something i dont wish to be.

Holy moly!

After months of password issues I am finally able to log in to my favorite forum again.

I'll have to spend the next few hours reading up, how have you guys been? Any new members to take note of? Any old ones that resurfaced ??

I've been fine, job is demanding but satisfying in a strange way, got a few loose flings with some girls but nothing steady as of yet .

Other than that, music, music music!
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

Hola Higher!

I've been well, mainly working and during my free time I try to be out as much as I can, though I usually end up watching a movie or a series with friends :)

How 'bout you? How's your kid ?!

After finding a state a week or so back of...Such perfect happiness, such total, constant contentment, that part of me, the part of me cynical, but also aware, of history, of humankind, of the way things work, and my position in the system, yes, that part of me, was holding fire on embracing the glee...and rightly so, for the day after I am granted extended leave for my wonderful plans of next year, the day after my closest brother in this fucking hemisphere returned to work after 4 days off watching his dear mother die and then wading through the sinhalese buddhist swamp of obligations of the major son, the closest and most hurt; we are both likely to lose our jobs, and worse news still...we need to be on our best behaviour for the more machine than heart bearing cunt to watch, shadow and note down our every move yesterday...a man, not what I would call a man, just what i would call a cunt, a corporate cunt...who will return on friday with 4 of the employees of his company...to yet again watch us, study us, but all our Boss of Bosses has told us, when during a meeting brimming with corporate bullshit terminology, i nodded and nodded and nodded, then said...'so you are outsourcing the mail room, outsourcing Jay and I?'...the response was 'i didnt say that...we havent considered that at this stage...we are interested in synergy and streamlining and lean processes...'...

it saddens me to hear, Animal, that they are planning on outsourcing your job. It seems a cruel thing to do sometime, to rob a man of his livelihood, just so you can save some dollars.

on another note. exams on the 4th and 7th of december... I feel sick.

Hmm, I'd say outsourcing doesn't necessarily improve things, communication is far less direct, quality is shabby and hell you have a proven record! You'll stay afloat Dan, no worries!

Abby, glad to see you on here too :) I saw you're getting your tat finished and it's looking awesome !
