GoW is slow as hell compared to most, its all hiding and you cant really spray n pray, which makes it feel much much slower.

I think thatblack and white 2 is the best pc game to play its awesome just like age of empires. I love the Fable games those are good when your high. Super Mario Bros (the new one for Wii) is also quite trippy with the mushrooms...

Maybe you guys should stop playing them on easy. Constantly shooting away and having to finding multiple spots to alternate between covers all the while being shot at from a bunch of angles by multiple endings is not what I would call slow. A game like Battlefield 2 or Counterstrike on the other hand, you take your time, get what you want, know where the battles are, and when you die: you chill out then repeat.

Black and White 2 was weird, though I've played the first one while extremely stoned before... all I did was just watch the little people go about their daily business... sick as fuck regardless.

I'm not gonna start a debate with you on this, but gears of war, which I played on the hardest setting, is still way slower than a First person shooter.

Any 3rd person shooter will be slower than FPS' simply because of the framework the games are built in, GoW is 'jumping' from cover to cover, sure, but still you are working your way through levels way slower, and in multiplayer sitting in cover and popping out once in a while to shoot people is not what I call fast.

So maybe all those years of herb smoking have impaired your reaction speed,thus making games like GoW seem 'super fast' to you, but to me it is a slow paced game.

Nope, we had a update in like December, rofl. But we should be getting one soon.
The development team is made up of players who do the updates/testing on their
own time, and they don't get paid for this either. So no, they haven't stopped
updating.
