I had a great time in New York CTCF, ten days of walking about visiting a range of museums along with some splendid nights out and about.

I talked to Eugene (gene) about meeting up but as it was quite short notice he didn't make it, next time!


It was a fun experience, last time I was there was in '07 and only for a weekend with my parents so this time around we did all of the cultural stuff but had some wicked fun as well.

Also managed to score a joint or two from one of the hotel staff, saw Prometheus stoned as hell ^^

Smoking a joint in the middle of Manhattan is kinda ... weird though, everyone passing by was a potential cop!

If you guys were to commit suicide, how would you do it?

I like the idea of seeing a body suspended from the ground, being hanged from the ceiling. That kind of image, of a swaying body, with a lifeless face, that would stay with you for the rest of your life.

erh, kinda morbid don't you think. :p

But the best way to go I think would be by putting a plastic bag over one's head with a rubber band that is tight enough to keep air from getting in or out, take a shitload of sleeping pills.

While you're still conscious you can pull the rubber band to let in fresh air, once you fall asleep...

Yeah, in Europe it is believed that nations like Spain & Portugal will themselves turn to Cannabis as an economic crop if the crisis becomes unmanageable.

I just got back from the SCAM in Louisiana. Got drunk as FUCK and lost that $2000 I came back from Vegas with. I only brought $400 cash and I was fine with losing that much, but my dumb ass had my credit cards on me at the SCAM. Drinks + gambling = emotional spending

Shiit, I don't make the money to toss out 2k on a drunken whim.

SCAM's are built around sucking their customers dry, get them drunk ASAP, rig the ventilation system with something that makes you happy and voila, money loss guaranteed.

Not that I'm telling you off for it, you're an intelligent young man and I'm sure the money lost wasn't money you needed anytime soon but still.

My friend told me the same thing about how they pump extra oxygen into the ca$ino to make people happy and gamble more. Absolute garbage, checked it on snopes. To do that would be a felony.

I play poker mainly. And if you check several posts back, I came back with $2000 profit from Vegas, and so was playing pretty aggressively in Louisiana. At my drunk moments, I started playing blackjack, which was my biggest mistake. Normally I only play poker, or at the worst, craps. I've studied up on the odds and betting strategies and normally do fairly well at craps. With proper betting, the ca$ino only has a 0.6% advantage (compared to the 20%+ advantage on other games) in craps. I was ahead a fair amount in craps but was really drunk and trying to make another $2000 profit and then once I got behind, just started betting emotionally trying to break even, which led to me losing it all. Craps is still fun as hell though.
