I've been watching a show called 8 out of 10 cats on Youtube, and I think it's brilliant. I really like Carr's humour

I'm not a fan of Jimmy Carr. I believe he tries to appeal to the masses far too much.

His only saving grace, in my opinion, is that his material is mostly written by Frankie Boyle, who is brutally funny.

I don't really like the show as a whole. They always feature popular longs from todays pop culture.

I have not one comedian whom i always find funny...they are generally forced, to make money, to appeal, as FIRE suggested, to such a wide audience that much of their acts often prove lifeless and moronic. However, now and then, I quite like Jimmy, because he can be absolutely horrid to people whilst keeping a straight face. The cats show is OK, definitely preferable to me over that mark le mar buzzcocks routine, which is funny at times, but smacks too much of wannabe cool, for my liking.
