Yes the English language is beautiful, but sometimes it can be so state the obviously stupid. For instance...
"I've never seen that before." Now really, was there a need to say that?
What you're saying here is, you've never seen that, before you seen it.... well excuse me for being rude but, DUHHHHH!
Of course you've never seen it before you seen it, otherwise you would have seen it. You see?

That post is exactly what this thread is for lol, out of the blue randomness :D
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

I'm in Naples Florida now, actually been here three days and have four to go. I think I will miss my flight back home, this place rocks! Sunshine, women, culture, and excellent cuisine.

I have no idea what that meant....

So I finally put one of my tunes on soundcloud. I tabbed it out on Guitar Pro 6 so it's just really good midi sounds, but you'll get the idea if you're interested....

Come to think of it, I think I've posted that one before... So here's another original (minus the vocals) + my metal rendition of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Guitar Pro 6 kicks ass. I don't think I'd do very well learning (well, perfecting) my OWN songs without it. Anyone else play any instruments, out of curiosity? I've got an Epiphone SG G-310 with Seymour Duncan Phat Cats, GOTOH tuners/bridge and an ME-70 board. Also got an old Norma acoustic from the '70s.

I also play bass (attic), drums (sold), synth (sold), keyboard/piano (both sold), sax (sold), computer (FL Studio/Pro Tools), mellotron (attic), theremin (sold), ondes martenot (wasn't mine) and a few others I can't think of at the moment. I went a little "out there" in finding unusual sounds, but there's nothing funner while tripping than music!

I'm actually a pretty good sequencer (some would say music producer) myself. I mostly use Reason right now but I'm expanding my knowledge of the field and moving on to other programs... like Ableton. I used to use FL Studio but I guess you could say I've outgrown it really... it was a great beginner program and would still be great to use just for its simple sequencing ability but all those lack luster synths, effects, and samples cluttering the interface is annoying... I'm currently committing VST genocide on my computer, getting rid of every plug in synth and effect I think sucks, and strengthening my knowledge and usage of the ones I think are great in order to tighten up my production game. I don't really play an instrument though I would like a MIDI keyboard to practice on and expand my ability... however that will have to wait as I'm more devoted towards purchasing a high quality microphone that I can use to vocalize on my music... it will take a lot of practice but it's going to be great. Until then I'm not releasing anything , or at least any of my good shit...

I just got Ableton myself and am trying to teach myself some things. (Y)

Not really sure which direction I want to take it but I need a hobby.
