After managing to take great care of my skin through the first wave of Summer savagery, yesterday I fucked up, and have been paying for it with wincing pain and constant stinging sensations ever since...The temperarure was only around 26C, but perhaps it was the wind which got me. I was already aware that the wind can be deceptive, making the air feel cool around you whilst the Sun remains incredibly strong in gaze, but I guess as I was tired and spent a lot of time in the sea I lay down on my towel and snoozed a while...and it wasn't until later yesterday evening that red turned to purple. Self inflicted of course, but nonetheless, fucking painful...Tonight i will drink less vodka, take a few cold showers and hope for an improvement in my complexion when I wake.

i also get horrible gags when i try to take a jello shot :(
Dude..I can't event take shots anymore without gagging lol. It's horrible. After I moved into my new place we partied for four days straight..taking shots of rum or vodka. It was stupid. Now I can't take shots without spitting it up...and it burns my throat so bad.

Mixed drinks from now on for this gal.

I only drink straight if it's a nice Cognac or Whiskey. Anything else gets a plentiful amount of Pepsi.

Rum.

Beautiful brown rum.

So I was going to go purchase Skyrim last night and I couldn't find my debit card. Turns out someone stole it from me at the grocery store earlier in the day and spent $800 out of my account, this overdrafted me and set up numerous fees. I called my bank and I am going to get reimbursed, but it is going to take like 10 days.

They also think they can catch the guy, he used it at WalMart for the majority of his purchases and by using the camera in the store and parking lot I'm hoping on a license plate number. They asked if I wanted to press charges and I told them you damn right, I mean its like stealing money from a person and I think even more so because he had to sign my name to the transactions, which is a crime in itself I think.

That's pretty crazy... debit card or credit card? Just wondering because I wouldn't think he would need to sign anything with a debit card... That and if it was indeed your debit card how did he know your pin? Just being nit-picky but I'm guessing it was your credit card.

Hope they do find the guy though... I got pick pocketed at a rap concert in New York last September and it was terrible times. I had all my credit/debit cards, ID cards, about 200$ cash and worst of all my green card in there. There's probably some gangsta out there in New York who is now using my identity. :(
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

Debit. In North Dakota and Minnesota we are a little behind on the times. When I was living in Texas I had to input my pin at every place I went to, but here it seems to vary. Some places print you a receipt and have you sign, others you have to enter your pin, and some require no signature or pin. I think every place you go to should have to require you to enter your pin number, I mean it is the safest way.

Sucks about your identity, same thing happened to me in San Antonio, lost my drivers license, social security, and birth certificate. There is probably some Mexican dude running around with new found citizenship making a living or committing crimes in my name :dunno:

Happened to me not even a couple weeks ago; had my wallet stolen months ago and called my bank to cancel the card. Months later, there's a shitload of online purchases starting to show up. After much hyperventilating, I called up my bank and had it sorted. Turned out that while they sent me my new card, they didn't cancel my old one.

What's more, I vividly remember (wow, that doesn't happen much) asking them to cancel it before sending me a new one, before being told they had to cancel the old before they could send a new one anyway. They re-imbursed a lot of fees, but while waiting on it to clear up (took 9 days), they charged me my monthly fee and gave me a ridiculous overdraft fee ($112) for that. To this, I was essentially told "tough cookies, it's ours now."

about 3 years ago my debit card was defrauded. apparently at a store i shopped at made an electronic copy of my card. and then sent that to their partners in quebec (i live in ontario). their partners made a hard copy of my card and then withdrew all my money at an atm. they just tried progressively lower amounts until the machine coughed up cash.
my bank called me at 7 am to inform me of what happened while i slept. told me i needed to go into my branch as soon as possible because they had frozen all my accounts but not before i was robbed. when i went into the bank they said i would be totally reimbursed but it would take 7 business days. i told them i had bills to pay before then and was not getting a paycheck for 9 days. so they put a rush on my money, i got it back in 5 days.

BUT the real kicker to the story is i was booked for a tattoo sit that day. and had to rush to the bank before going to the shop. freaking out the entire time because i had an extra $500 in the bank for the tattoo, and it was gooooooone. i had already made a hefty deposit at the shop, and if you dont give 2 days notice about cancelling an appointment then you lose the deposit. (its understandable tho. if the chairs empty for the full day...i book whole days. the artist looses out on a days paycheck).
i told the lady at the bank all this after i got the rush on my reimbursement. that i needed at least $400 in my account by that afternoon. she went and spoke to her manager and i was granted an overdraft of $500. the people at the bank were very helpful.

That was rather decent of your bank.

I've just installed Opera Mobile on my phone and it's so much better than Mozilla.

I must be high, cuz I read all of that lol

Hahaha, my bf and I went to go kill some time at Kmart today, and I ended up buying nerf guns. Best decision I've made in a while. Who knew how much fun shooting people could be. Now we're both stoned, threatening each other like the guns are real XD

Christ, I haven't had a NERF gun since I was about 8. I think I may still have the NERF bow at my mums place. I used to love that shit.

Super soakers were a childhood favourite too.
