Yup...well until you reach level 10. Then it's 99 cents for a month subscription. Which isn't that big of a deal.

well, there are tons of MMO's that are F2P at the moment, not via facebook, but that's really just a bother imo.

LotR:O, AoC, Champions online, or a game called forsaken world.
if you prefer other types of games you have Heroes of Newerth or League of Legends, Bloodline champions (MOBA, multiplayer online battle arena)
also, World of Tanks wich is a tank shooter (great fun) and Age of Empires online (an RTS obviously) or maybe some Battlefield action with Battlefield heroes. all of which are free 2 play, or rather, payment optional

and there's probably a shitton more that I don't know of.

I think you can play World of Warcraft up to level 20 for free

It's level 10 as well, If I remember correctly.

it's up to lvl 20 that's free, but to reach lvl 20 is like.. a couple of days of casual gaming.
