I'm kind of a compulsive drinker, if I have booze in the apartment I drink every day, or pretty close. It kind of worries me since I will finally be 21 and can buy my own booze soon. I just have to be sure not to keep it around the apartment.

I know what you mean. Like if it's there you gotta drink it. You should buy yourself a hipflask. They really do work in the sence that you can actually "Drink responsibly". You take a moutful, and it's enough to give you a buzz without feeling sick or doing anything retarded. And it lasts like an hour, but i'm sure i don't need to tell you what it's like being drunk

I usually drink responsibly, I'm not big on liquor, just beer and wine. I drink for the taste. Wine can fuck me up if I drink too much so I usually only drink it with food. Beer can get me pretty good but I usually get too full before I get super trashed. I usually just split a liter and a half or so of beer with my girl, as in, she tastes it and I drink it down haha.

Disliking wine to me is like disliking beer. It's just because you haven't been properly exposed to it. Cabernet sauvignon (room temp!) paired with pasta pomodoro, delicious. Or a nice chilled chardonnay. I bet you would like chardonnay it's the easiest drinking, tastiest wine ever.

To be honest I've grown sick of beer. My tolerance is stupid high. It takes about 8+ beers for me to start acting goofy. Five beers won't even give me a buzz. :/

Welcome to the forums, Zelda...And I miss thoise days when a litre of strong spirits would last me more than 2-3 days. However, despite my dangerous comfort with vodka, i cant deal with bourbon. Or cognac. I was tempted a day or two back to forsake my regular litre of red smirnoff for a throwback to my past, to grab a 700ml of Sailor Jerry's...fuck...i remember doing a bottle of that pirate gutrot nightly, when i was with the heathen whore. My advice, is to try vodka...decent vodka.

As for not keeping booze around the apartment...le sigh. I was buying beer or going out almost every day, so I bought some liquor to keep around. I've got a bottle of bourbon, a bottle of dark rum, and a bottle of gin sitting in my room. And I love it.

I get paid like £60 a week for my job, and i don't want to blow it all on booze. Well, just yet. I made a deal that every time i get paid, i would go out and buy a collection of somekind, and i decided i would buy a piece of unifrom from like a nazi. When i have all the equipment and uniform of a second world war nazi, i will then buy alcohol. The only difference is, i will be the only one getting drunk in a nazi outfit xD
