Tragic as it is, I was just thinking of what a tsunami must be like for marine life. Imagine you're just swimming along and following where all the water is going and all of a sudden you're surrounded by cars being smashed into each other and into buildings and shit like that. Hmmm

Dan, i don't know how you intended that question to come across, but it's not one i was expecting to be asked, to say the least. However, i shall tell you.....

It saddens me greatly. I cannot even imagine myself ever commiting a fraction of the atrocities that some of the leaders of this world have carried out. Personal gain is not the key to this life and the lack of compassion involved is disgusting.

I think that's all i need to say.

Guys this nuclear thing is serious. this could be how the world ends. All the radition that could possibly spew out of there....

like what if people start mutating? there's gonna be a big die off and birth rates are gonna plummet because radiation is going to affect peoples reproductive systems. I mean these are things that could really happen. or I mean isn't this how godzilla started? i don't mean that as a joke either.... not that we will be attacked by giant lizards, but we could start seeing mutations in the fish and other wildlife... or again, just a massive die off.

Again this is all just theoretical things I'm thinking, but how many of you think the nuclear reactor situation is more serious than the news outlets are making it look? How much of what we are reading is calming tactics?

I get so pissed when i watch the news and I'm seeing shit about charlie sheen when this is going on. this aint a joke.

i dont think it would be any worse than chernobyl man... and while that was incredibly bad, it wasnt the end of the world, specied etc... the end of a city yes... but not the end of civilization

its strange when the japanese can lose 10-30000 people, then lose a small handful of people to the nuclear issues, and yet it is that, which makes the front page...I am in no way belittling the suffering of those thousands, or even the handful, but its more obvious, than lunatic conspiracy theory, to ponder that the nuclear issue is been pushed so heavily by those whose vested interests are focused massively in non nuclear energy...and as Scarf says...this is not another chernobyl.

the only difference is cherynobl is a lot more isolated and landlocked... Japan is right on the ocean.
