so you go to school for art Grrl?
I have been thinking about taking a Fine Arts course at a local college. care to share some advice?

Yea I'm a mature student at a local university (not that you would know from looking at me).
Advice? errm...You should try to find one that doesnt stifle your creativity and lets you roll with your own ideas, and dont forget to take into account that art is one of the most expensive courses material wise and time wise. My social life has been dead over 12months now bar the odd absolutely unmissable event here and there. I dont really know how your education system works over there and if you get student loans or anything, so I'm not really sure how to advise you on that side of things though.
