To the rest of the world Smarties means chocolate (and depending who you ask, a more favorable Halloween treat). Similar to plain M&M’s, Nestlé Smarties were first sold in England as “Chocolate Beans” in the 1880’s before adopting the “Smarties” name in 1937. The equally colorful candy is popular in the UK, Germany, Australia, South Africa and Canada—where it’s common to eat the red ones last.

So, to avoid confusion (and lawsuits) Canadians have the nearly identically packaged Rockets instead—and Americans, unfortunately, miss out on the chocolate variety.

Great costume Falkon.

Um last night I had to work so I didn't do anything. I went to the bar for a little bit to hit up the after after party for the zombie pride parade, but I wasn't dressed up or anything. Saturday was technically my Halloween. Ya'll have all seen my costume already in the mugshot thread. I didn't take much pictures cuz we were mostly in black lights all night and all you can see it the white parts of my dress.

smarties are good, I've had rockets before and they're definitely better though.. less of a chalky taste

you know what REALLY tastes bad? those damn heart shaped valentines day candy that has a cliche' phrase on each one.. they taste like old chalk sticks that got mashed together to be mass produced
