Oh great Weed Guru, I rub my glass bong and summon you for some basic growing advice.... rub rub

I live on the west coast of BC, and am wondering if it might be time to take down my three small plants. The ground is soggy from showers, though we're still getting a day of sunshine here and there. Rain is forecast for the next day and a half, then calling for two days of sun. All the trichomes are still white. My question to you (or anyone) is, is it worth holding out to get a bit more sunshine on these babies? I know if the soil stays wet, that can't be good.

If they aren't ripe, then yes it's best to wait. If you don't you'll lose out on alot of weight and potency

Unless you are growing a short flowering indica strain like Early Misty or something, I doubt your weed will be ready for another couple weeks

It always depends on the strain, some take longer to flower than others.

The best way to know when it's ready is by the trichomes like you mentionned

A couple days of rain won't hurt it at all

Thats right a few days of rain wont hurt unless the moist overcast weather sticks around after the rains stop. The plants need to dry out otherwise budrot will set in. Keep an eye out for dead, miscolored leaf tips in the middle of your tops as this is a sure sign that the bud has been growing mold inside. It will spread fast. I don't mean to alarm you, just keep an eye out. You should be all good as long as the sun shows again soon.
