yeah i prefer my anime realistic to be honest... im not a huge fan of monsters and cyborgs etc...

k man, Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, and any spin off series or movie is fucking epic.

mmmm i prefer more adult based... i watched some of them as a kid... but i prefer things like samurai champloo, gungrave, or even cowboy beebop

Otogi Zoshi is a slow starter but its more for an adult audience and the story is quite interesting once it finally gets going. There are two chapters to the story, the first is set in ancient japan during the heian period, the second is set during modern day japan. I cant really tell you much without giving too much away, but it basically follows the story of a brother and his younger sister who are heads of a clan asked to retrieve these things called magatama for the emperor so he can save Tokyo from evil. You can check it out on wiki but there are a few spoilers so dont say you weren't warned.

It's pretty as fuck, and I loved the season 1 vibe, though some people may dislike the scifi/paranormal stuff.
