Can a legitimate copy of windows XP be installed on 2 different computers??
My father in law gave me his old pc after he bought a new one. But the pc shop like transfered everything from his old hard drive to his new one, including windows. So now I have a pc with an empty hard drive...is there anything I can do with it without it costing me something?
Windows XP

Yes, you can. Otherwise you can download an illegitimate copy. I can point you to a good one (no bullshit included and it's fast).
