that leads me to think. maybe they already try to contact us. and we don't know, cause we can see/feel em.
Maybe they try to send us electric signal, and we're too noob technologie scale to detect it.

To the people who think we should be "munitionally," or otherwise militarily prepared...
We can't reliably get people to our nearest planetary neighbor, let alone out of the solar system. If aliens made it here, thats proof enough that any technology of ours will be the equvalent of throwing a handful of dirt and rocks at a tank, perhaps even a tank that exists in more than one spot at a time (utilising quantum physics, mechanics, and entanglement.)
If you took the technology of today and pitted it against technology of 200 years, even 100 years ago, tehre wouldn't be a standing chance; our "knowledge" has progressed that much that quickly. so imagine a society who has been successful in scholastic endeavors for a thousand years more than where were at now... just imagine that.
no, technologically speaking, we wouldn't have a solid reese' cup chance in hell worth of a chance to come close to even putting up more of a fight than a cosmic bitch-slap. (probably annihilating ourselves in the process anyway)
However, i, for one, don't think alien contact should be feared. We're proving that we don't know how to take care of ourselves on this planet, perhaps some extra'terrestrial teachings will come in handy.
Hell, they might even save us. Take a look at the changing world around you..........
