Survival Backpack

Post by weedguru_waffles »

Ok so what are some things or items that you absolutely can not go camping without? Also things that you always forget but are really important....

Just as a starter:
- flashlight
- fire starters; matches/lighter/flint (flint is so much fun to play around with!)
- knife
- WATER!! & booze/weed/whatever else you'd like
- TP

Post more!

Happy Camping! ☮

Bear Grylls is such a badass, first time I saw his show he was at one point crawling around naked wrapped in some animal skin he flayed :p
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

QFFT.
If you were with Bear, you'd have to make sure you really actually weren't that far from civilization, and then you'd end up doing a whole bunch of pointless stuff that, really, in the end, would be a gigantic waste of time and energy and resources.
Les Stroud knows what's up!

(I'm probably repeating some here...)

Pistol/ammo
Tent
Sleeping bag
if a wet climate, good firestarter.
Nomulous food--some freeze dried food can be wonderful, specially when you're starving.
Trail mix
a good knife
Portable stove/pot/pan/utensils setup.
