Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

I grew up with Nintendo and Super Nintendo, owned an N64 for 3 months before I sold it to buy a Playstation. This shit made me smile and reflect on the simpler times of gaming.
I hear a lot of positive things about the Wii but I am lazy and wouldn't want to wave my hands and arms around to entertain myself.

Honestly, my brother and I played New Super Mario Bros on the wii over christmas, and it was astoundingly well made. Just like mario bros past, except you both can control mario/luigi at once. makes for a really fun time. you can throw each other too which adds competitiveness, but its not so in the way as to ruin the game. hella fun.
and yeah.. i dunno, i had a ps1 and an n64. loved certain games on both
