HOUSTON -- An investigation is under way after a first-grade student brought a small amount of marijuana to Foerster Elementary School, Houston Independent School District officials said.
Another student reported that the 7-year-old child had the drug at the school, which is located in the 14,000 block of Fondmeadow in southwest Houston.
School officials said the child has been suspended for three days and Houston police and Child Protective Services were called.
The school sent letters home with the students asking parents to take the opportunity to speak to their children about the dangers of drugs.
A six year old? Yikes!
