An old movie, probably from somewhere in the late 70's.
It's about a supercomputer built in the US, named Colossus, that is meant to solve humanities problems, but it appears to be even smarter than the creator thought it would be, and it turns out the russians have their own version of this named 'Guardian' .
Colossus and Guardian link up to form one super-supercomputer and threaten to launch nuclear missiles if humanity does not comply to their commands. They do this with the prosperity of mankind in mind, so it's all pretty cool.
Definitely a movie to watch, do we need a machine to keep us from destroying ourselves?

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.
