Application to grab video clips?
Does anyone know of a decent, small application which can be used to grab video clips which play in web pages. I knot Real Player presents such an option when installed, but it comes bundled with too much shit for my liking...So I am seeking something smaller, and less bothersome to system resources...any ideas?

there's this toolbar called 'ant video downloader' but that basically saves them online, so you have to open your browser to get to the player.
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

If you're using Firefox, check out DownloadHelper, I use it all the time.
It installs an icon of a triad of colored balloons near your URL bar. when its lit up and spinning, it gives you the option to click and save videos on the current page. Its great ^_^. It fit the bill perfectly for what I was looking for, and seems like it would you too

Falkon, does this actually download and save the video's to your hard drive, or does it ,like that Ant video downloader I mentioned, download it into the player, so not usable in other videoplayers other than the built in Ant player?
Man, that was hard to ask, lol.

Yep. Downloads to your computer as whatever filename it is, i.e. thisisacoolmovie.mp4 or iliketowatchhotstuff.mpeg
