Growing...Tobacco

Ok well since cigarette prices are high, and just paying for cigarettes in general is a shit load of money to spend, and I have a decent sized area to grow about 30x30' worth of plants tobacco.. I have a site that will sell the seeds real cheap, and the tobacco is for cigarette use so I'm not concerned on that or the climate because there's a few tobacco farms in my state. I don't know a whole lot about growing it to make it as good as possible. I was wondering if anyone here ever grew their own tobacco.. I have a few questions about it. I've heard the taste as being much better and healthier too if it's not fast processed with chemicals to speed up the 3 month curing process, but is it actually legit better tasting? I also want to know if there are any tips that you guys used to grow them that aren't as popular? How much yield did you get out of each plant also? I'm sure I'll have a few more questions once spring rolls around and I get them going. I guess I'll make this my tobacco growing thread to show you guys the process of all of it for further readers.
