Hmmmm, rooting for them over Canada eh? :P lol. I wanted Czech Rep to make it to the finals vs Canada, but would have wanted Canada to beat them in the end.

As for the two semi final games today.....

I've got some Finnish in me, so I'll be rooting for them in about 15 minutes versus the US. It will probably be a decently tight games as both Ryan Miller and Mikka Kiprusoff are elite goalies. While the US definitely has a lot more talent, I say it ends up 2-1 or 3-1 with an empty net goal either way . The natural pick feels like the United States, but the Finns have won the most medals in the Olympics of any men's hockey team since 1988. One can never count them out.

Finally, Slovakia was a team that I knew would do well heading into the tournament. A lot of the outcome of tonight's game will depend on Jaroslav Halak (Slovakia's goalie). He has the capability of making really big saves, but he can also let that weak one in. With that being said, he has the ability to be a game stealer (I see him a lot considering he's the goalie of my favorite team). On the other side, Luongo will be strong. In the end, I think Canada will take this game by 2 goals, say 5-3.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

^What the hell happened to Kipursoff? They did an interview with Zach Parise the other day and he said this is one of the largest antiAmerican crowds he has been around. If the gold medal game happens that I want to happen, Canada vs. US, Vancouver will be rocking!
