http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/20 ... ature.html...believe that the cosmos we live in was actually created by the cyclical trillion-year collision of two universes (which they define as three-dimensional branes plus time) that were attracted toward each other by the leaking of gravity out of one of the universes.

Re: New theory of before the big bang
dude thats fucking crazy.
kind of makes sense but we still want to ask that question of how is it possible that this universe has always existed...like how come it didnt have to come from something or how is it possible to exist infidelity without a meaning of time.

Re: New theory of before the big bang
Hmm, all he's really said is "ok this was created by this". So now we have to ask "well how was THAT created??" And he says these "branes" have simply always existed. Maybe the universe has just always existed, I mean is there solid proof that at one time billions of years ago that all the universe and planets were on top of one another? The theory for that is "well if we are moving away from eachother NOW, if you rewound time, you'd probably find everything on top of one another at somepoint". Is there any evidence that at one point this was true? Or do they just say "well it must be true if we are mving away from eachother NOW". If so then whos to say that the universe has always existed, but a few billion years ago before everything was "ontop of eachother", space was just hanging in mid...space? Nothing was moving. But then some massive explosion or some kind of event in space, triggered all the stuff needed for everything to start moving away from eachother.
I say all this under the guise that I haven't seen evidence that we used to be "on top of eachother".... Did any of that even make any sense? I'm tired as fuck.

Re: New theory of before the big bang
if it was always there also, would the other dimensions that collided together be started forever? Maybe it means that the dimensions go in sporadic motions and every so often the RIGHT dimensions under the perfect circumstances create the right bond to create the big bang. If that is also true, then what would stop that from creating something else then besides just matter.. what if it creates a whole different dimension and by doing so some way or another it is what makes the beginning of anything.. a dimension SOMEHOW going reverse in 'time' making time create itself. If that happens then there is no such thing as 'time' before that occurrence.. so in retrospect, it has always been there forever, because the creation of the universe was started from something that happened in the future with the dimensions sporadically going everywhere and colliding and making it creates itself, because forever is only as long as when the universe was started. There was NOTHING before it making it so it can't be considered there, and by definition, it HAS been there forever then. This would also bring a big debate about what nothing is then.. it all depends on what nothing is that defines if it really has been there forever.

^Yeah I hardly got a word of that, man
And in the video where does he get these 2 crazy dimensions from?? Any evidence to support the theory that these 2 dimensions even existed?

Re: New theory of before the big bang
hummm maybe parallel universes and they had a gravity leak for some reason then started moving and crashed into our universe.
But what about the other infident parallel universes, did the "brane" that crashed into ours contines to keep on moving and crash into all the others.
If thats possible then this act will continue to restart braines forever and forever and what if in 2012 a "braine" is gonna crash into us and start another big bang!
theres some holes in that guys logic
