i hate cornering, or when people corner pipes. its stupid. you need to layer it instead of corner. if you only like one corner of it, then the other areas are letting in non smoke filled air, which makes your hit less potent. if you burn the top layer of the weed, you get a potent hit while at the same time as leaving weed for the other people.

Do NOT take paraphernalia outside of your home unless you are going straight to someone else's home. Do NOT smoke pipes/bongs in cars or in public. That is an extra charge on top of possession of marijuana, while if you were smoking a joint or a blunt, you could ditch it if the cops show up, and assuming you have no more weed on you, get off scott free.

if you like pipes u should invest in a nice glass bowl, metal sucks to smoke out of imo.

u drag harder on joints... pipes are a bit harsher....so smaller softer hits

thanx folk ive only got kief at moment (super strong resiny like cannabis) and its wayy hard tryin to get that ryt i think. the lighters upside down and the flames hittin the resin but most of its up burnin my fingers, and im sucking away on the pipe but its the smallest wee flame on the resin then goes out in about 1sec, barely a buzz outta it, what can i doooooo?

As far as tools of the trade, I like to have as many different ones as possible on hand for all different occasions. Each has it's own adavantage/es.
For example, I always carry papers in my wallet, no excuses. If I know I'm gonna be tokin' at a certain place I have to walk to, I'll take my pipe. If it's just at home, It'll have to be the bong or hookah.

Just wondering... after 4 years of smoking how have you never hit a pipe? You have never been out of papers and had to improvise or you just werent curious or what?
