its resin. get a pipe cleaner and push it though mouthpiece into bowl, lather, rinse, repeat. u will notice the bowl will hit a lot better after its clean, i just cleaned mine and its great...

Perhaps you have a cheap pipe like me, and resin is coating the entire inside of the pipe, and when you hit it you slobber or something, and water goes into the pipe and picks up resin and drips out later.
Ive never had this problem, but could see it happening.

Its happened to me before.. well not leakage, but a nasty as shit brownish blackish liquid. Ive only ever had that from smoking hash though, so.... i dont know what to tell you.

Well good hash has a lot of oil in it so that's normal.
