Fantastic movie!

In the near future, 2027, women become infertile for some unknown reason, everything seizes to exist.

Since there will be no newborns there isn't anything to look forward to so people stop inventing, everything just stops.

The movie's setting is the UK which has become a fortress, no one gets in, no one gets out.

Immigrants,which are seen as illegals are being hunted down, it reminded me of the way the jews were treated by the germans during woII, caged and repatriated or disposed of in weird dodgy ways.

Then one day an 18 year old girl becomes pregnant, the only problem is she wants to get out of the UK to get her baby and herself into the safe hands of 'The Human Project' which is an organization of scientists trying to find a solution to the infertility problem.

Fucking AAA movie!

Just saw the movie and it was pretty good. I liked how this storyline wasnt done before or if im wrong wasnt done 20 times over and just butchered more than half the time. Only thing i wasnt too happy about was the ending, kind of weird.

anyways after watching it, it made me think how long till something like that happens to us. where women and men become infertile. with all the stuff in our water, food n air and other stuff like that, its got to affect our fertilitly rate somehow. ........ maybe ?

I saw it tonight as well.

Loooved it. Perfect depiction of the future.

Hated how it just ended though. Made me so mad, I wanted to see what happened after that.

Now the question is, do I watch it stoned or sober? Actually, does that question even need to be asked on this type of forum? I doot it.

watch it sober, its great, but its depressing. it would be too much of a buzz kill

lol i dont see a sequel happening though...i should just pick up the book, ill probably learn more from that

nah, I don't think they'll be dumb enough to sequel it, I like the open ending.

And there's really nothing much you can make another one about, except for their journey to the Human project, but that's been done...

I saw it again tonight because my ex wanted to go see it with me, and in the part where they're in the little shack with all the newspapers, i noticed one article that said "armageddon started today, nuke was launched, kazakhstan completely destroyed" or something like that, dont remember the exact words.

I just found it funny what with the whole Borat thing. The articles that are shown throughout the movie are interesting though, I recommend seeing it twice.

Most movies are good to see twice though...
