Man arrested for selling marijuana from ice cream truck

U.S. authorities in southwest Michigan said they arrested an ice cream truck operator who was selling marijuana along with his frozen desserts.

After receiving tips about the alleged pot-peddler, a deputy saw the ice cream truck entering a mobile home park Thursday afternoon and stopped it, Berrien County sheriff's Lt. Keith Hafer said in a written statement.

Deputy John Hopkins spoke with the driver and "detected the odor of marijuana coming from the truck (along with tutti-frutti and a couple other flavors)," Hafer wrote.

Authorities searched the van and found several packages of marijuana under the dashboard, the statement said.

The 36-year-old suspect was jailed while awaiting arraignment on charges of marijuana possession with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug vehicle. He also faces an outstanding warrant for skipping child support, Hafer said.

Authorities released the vehicle to the vending company "in spite of an effort by Narcotics Officers to devise a way to forfeit the vehicle and its icy cold treats," Hafer said. He said police would seek revocation of the company's license to operate in Benton Township.

Burger King Workers Busted for Slipping Pot into Policemen's Cheeseburgers

Some people pay good money for marijuana. Others, namely police, aren't happy even if you give them the old sweet leaf.

In fact, two Los Lunas, NM Burger King workers and their manager were given charges of aggravated battery on an officer when they slipped a bit of pot to two unsuspecting members of the Isleta Police Department, according to KOB-TV.

The officers thought they tasted something unusual in the cheeseburgers they'd purchased at the drive-through. “One of the officers, when he was eating his hamburger, he said, ‘This thing tastes like it has marijuana in it,’” a police lieutenant told the TV station. “And that’s when he opened it up to see what was inside."

Neither officer ordered a Colombian Double Whopper or Panama Red Double Cheeseburger, but when they lifted the tops of the burgers, the officers saw some green, leafy stuff mingled with the melted cheese.

Suspicions Confirmed!

According to the report, the officers "began acting odd after ingesting the marijuana" and they were, like, taken to a hospital for evaluation, man.

In addition to being charged with aggravated battery on an officer, 19-year-old Justin Armijo, 21-year-old Robert Nuckols and their manager, 33-year-old Joseph Ledefma, were charged with possession of marijuana, said KOB-TV.

aggravated battery...what in the fuck......how is a little bit of weed aggravated battery. I bet the cop was pissed cuz they had to pay for their cheese burger or had to wait too long and planted it there in spite.
