ACT scores...

They didn't have the writing portion when I took it. All I had were verbal and math (1250 thank you very much). Although, AP English gave me more than enough time to really learn how to bullshit through a paper before college.

im 14 and got to take it for warm up and got an 18.. guessed on the 2nd half though i didnt know anything in the science part

They are very different tests..on the ACT if you miss a question you dont get penilized, in the SAT when you miss questions you actually lose points. ACT dosent have a section that the SAT does i believe.

Since most of the people posting took the SAT before the third section was implemented, my score without the writing section was 1540.

not really too much. The ACT is shorter and probably easier. But it really depends on what college someones looking into to determine whether to take the SAT or ACT.

I took the SAT first in 8th grade... they thought i was smart i guess. That was when the system was on the 1600 scale (unless im dreaming that up...) but back then i got like 1050 or something.
I took the ACT recently and scored 24. the only requirement for the ocllege i want to go to is getting 22+ on the ACT. w00t!
