Help?

I've been using a metal pen end for a stem for a long time and have noticed it gave harsh drags and after heating it up to insert into a bottle noticed it smoked. I need a new stem and need new ideas

you can buy just a stem and bowl combo at any headshop. they're usually pretty nice glass slider types. for my homemade bongs i use my flashlight pipe as the bowl and stem, they work well and can be configured into either a carbed bong or a slider bong. before i got my flashlight pipe i used a crayola marker lol.

it sounds so bad.. but when i make bongs.. i use household straws..with just my entire pipe as the bowl + stem

I'm only 15, so headshops are a no-no, unless they're higher than a kite in Katrina. Think it's safe to still use the metal pen, it might just been resin or something.

As soon as you turn 16 you will get your license, then drive around to a bunch of shops. A lot of places wont card. Drive around, if you dont see any "We Card" signs, then they often wont. If you live in arizona I can tell you a ton of places that wont card you. Its never hard to find one though in any area.

as long as you dont look like a little kid they probably wont card you... I live in texas and I haven't been carded once, and I've been in and out of headshops since I was 15... then again now I have a goatee (supposedly I look 24) and dont even get carded for alcohol ^.^
