this game can prove very annoying, this is what a small child does. I was talking to my aunties little girl today and i thought this game could prove amusing for some.

The whole reason that money was invented was that bartering isn't a particularly efficient means of paying for goods and services.

Money is a system of measuring a person's (or a country's) contribution to society at large. It's a religion really, if we all stopped believing in the value of money it would fall apart. But as long as we trust in Uncle Sam (or John Bull or whoever your country's "mascot" is), we will use money as an exchange of labor and services. The more you work, the more you contribute to society, the more money you have to spend on food, drugs, sex, children, etc. It's all bogus really. Wouldn't it be interesting if we could go back to the stone ages where you could get away with being a lazy useless bastard so long as you were big enough to beat up anyone trying to stop you from living off of the hard work of others?

I'm going to anticipate you asking why we need a system of measuring people's worth, so I'm going to respond by saying that we don't need it, we just have it, it tends to work out better than letting the big guys take everything from the little guys. Why? WHY?! Who fucking cares why!?
