What do I grow in east facing conservatory.
Just come across this site. Anybody out there tell me a good variety to grow in a east facing conservatory? Thinking ahead for next spring. Also need a source for seeds and cuttings. Has to mature naturally as I cannot use lights. Thanks

A conservatory is a upvc extension to a house. If it was south facing it would catch the sun at it's strongest. As it faces east it only gets the morning sun and is cool and shaded during the day. It does recieve good light levels. Is there a variety that would mature in those conditions?

Oh, well that sounds pretty good. You could grow something real nice there I think. Is there a height restriction or is it a normal height ceiling? I take it the roof is clear plastic or glass.
For indoor/greenhouse growing Indica plants are best because they naturally grow shorter and thicker. You could also go with a hybrid that contains mostly indica.
Northern Lights is my personal number 1 recommendation of indoor growing strains. Watch out cause there are alot of copy cats kinds with similar names. You want the original one. The one with the 'S' on lightS. They are much more expensive than the others.
White Widow is another excellent choice, though the seeds are rather pricey also.
In the cheaper price range I'd go with an Afghani strain or similar. Some of the most potent weed comes from the Middle East.
Big Bud, Electric Haze, Super Silver Haze, and White Rhino are also up there in my books.

I don't know if dwarf type plants exist, but anyways you don't really need them. You can control the height of your plant by cloning it. It forces the plant to grow shorter and bushier.
The above palnts I mentioned are all Indica or mostly Indica hybrid strains. Genetically those plants grow shorter and bushier than Sativa plants.
