Diff Strains of weed give diff effects?

So ive been reading around... and im guessing that different strains of weed give you diff effects, some are physicial numbing, some are like head high, body high, cant walk/... is it true? and does anyone know the specific strains and what they do if they are differnet?

Ok, well I don't know about specific strains, but the two main types of weed are indica, and sativa. Indica gives you a body buzz. Sativa gives you a headbuzz. Most schwag weed is Sativa. Many high quality strains are a combo of sativa and indica. Yeah, thats all I know... I hope it somewhat answers your question.

That pretty much sums it up right there. But if your looking for specific strains to buy then don't even try cuz #1. people lie about the strains they have about 99% of the time unless they grow it, and #2. There's tons of strains.

yea just try changing dealers until you get your favorite prices and type of smoke and just keep with that.

my freinds freind is kinda my dealer for this one deal right now.... he owe me and my freind $55 worth of weed, and it was due like....last friday... no more like last wednesday.... i told my freind thats freinds with him i want more

lol, w.e i just want my fucking weed!!!!! lOL my parents have been gone for 4 days now..... i was SUPPOSED to smoke but NO, he supposedly got jumped... w/e i dont care, as long as i get it.... by this friday

theres millions of strains

they give u diff. buzz but not a real big diff between each strains

usually depens on your mood and how your body is feeling when u toking

Strains actually mean different types of weed... for example Chronic Typical for the UK has its strain... and it produces about 15.6 % THC ( the thing that makes u high) Schwag has about 8 % Nice skunk has about 12-16 % so yea.... Then u got white widow that was like 18 % THC and its 50 % indica ( body bizzzz) and 50% Sativa ( Mind Buzzzz)

I need to find meself some really good bud. I haven't smoked headies for a little over 2 months now and it seems like all my bud is just mids but I can never find any better.

I'm right up there with you man. I didn't even have anything for 420.
But, back to the topic. Of course different strains are gonna have different effects. I mean, take Afgan and White widow. Afgan is indica and White Widow is, well, I guess that's indica too. But White Widow gives off a sativa high (more of a cerebral buzz) and Afgan gives off a couchlock body stone buzz, if you catch my drift.
