the people who decide about ill/legalization aren't stupid enpugh top believe what they read on the front of a tabloid newspaper.

im the editor of my high school newspaper and i put constant drug references and messages to that effect throughout every issue. anyone who looks at the front page will see them, but the teachers usually dont understand. thats a good start for the media.


but one time the local TV news did a story that said in a super-sinister voice: GET HIGH DOT COM. then it did a supposed "expose" on erowid and how it should be illegal. its fucking INFORMATION! its the TRUTH! theyre gonna withhold the fucking truth of the universe from us? the web site doesnt lie... people need information like that to make informed decisions. it would be a bad thing for erowid.org to be shut down.

people believe what they read because they have nothing else to turn to. Everyone is full of steriotypes and half-truths. there are no true statements. only a bunch of half-thruths. That, and people only truly listen to what THEY want to. You can hear everything, but you only listen to somethings....think bout it.
