Those still living at home, are you open with your parents?

So my question is pretty easy. Everybody here guy or girl who still lives at home, are you open with your parents about your weed smoking? Personally, I haven't outright told my parents, but they've busted me more than once and haven't really done too much about it. I think they realized that it's going to happen no matter what they do, so they just pretend like it doesn't happen so they don't have to deal with it. It's kinda unspoken. They aren't sure either way if I do or not, but they don't want to know...so it works out pretty good! Anybody else?

yea. my parents were talking abou tthis one time they were blazing and they were saying how they ordered pizza and chicken wings and all this good shit. Im usually trying to be funny most of the time so I said, "ey hold up, where the fuck was I at wen this was takin place?!"

Yea, im open with them. As a matter of fact, I changed rooms with my sister today, she went to the basement, i came to to top floor beside my parents room. My dad comes in and the conversation goes something like..

parent: you know you can't smoke pot in your room now because I'm allergic.

me:

parent: you don't smoke weed though right haha

me: noooooooooo, of course not! not me!

parent: try and say that with a straight face haha

me: so can i smoke in my room?

parent: yea, just don't make it a habbit

lol, that was the first time he ever talked to me about smoking weed so its kinda cool.

ha your lucky, my situation is pretty much the same as yours jetasis but my mom is always suspicious but my dad doesn't care that much.

My parents wouldn't mind, but I haven't told them. They know my bro smokes...maybe I just like seeming like the "good" one.

Well, it's not like I regularly discuss it with them, but I think it's pretty apparent, my mom sometimes tells me what food we have "in case I get the munchies", and my dad will occasionally make a pot joke at me.

yeah my folks know... my mum has been sitting with us while me and my mates smoke up a couple of times....
she is pretty cool... gets along with all my friends and isnt too worried about us smoking

Never got caught, never plan on getting pot. I never smoke in the house, which is why I've never posted high or anything. If my mom found out, it would probably break her heart. My dad is kinda suspicious because I've been researching how to grow weed a lot in the past few months and he checked out my bookmarks on the firefox browser and questioned me about it. I just told him what he wanted to hear but he's still kinda suspicious.

My parents are absolutley awesome. Since im the youngest child and gonna be the last to move out, my parents could care less what i do. Drink/smoke they both know. Hell ive smoked with my mom before and shes poured me drinks.

youse are lucky. 4 years have went by without telling my folks, i know straight away they would go mad. seriously dont know if it was the green yesterday or what but when i came home yesterday after smoking my mum kept staring at me... MIGHTVE been the paranoia i get with 1 in every 20 joints

both my rents smoke weed so not a big deal, they get pissed when i smoke weed in the house but usually they dont smell it cuz my rooms downstairs

My folks know I smoke weed, but I smoke it 2-3 times a day in my room and they don't notice. It's either i'm pro at hiding it, or they are just mentally retarded (My room is one hallway away from the livingroom, and the washroom).

yeah i told my parents about a eyar ago
well, just under a year, 9-10 months i guess
all my dad wanted to know was how much i pay and where i get it lmao
my mom thought she was all cool cause she doesnt smoke
my dad smokes
and my sis did too
my grandmother even does sometimes
so yeah, they dont really care
as long as i dont do it at school or anything
which i sometimes do
